What is the name of the very end of a shoe heel?

The plastic part that you take out and replace for a new one when it has worn out. I have a bunch of pairs of shoes (like 10) that need that piece replaced (they are on the iron part) and the shoe repair place is charging me from $7 to $10 each THAT IS ABUSIVE!! So, I was thinking that if I buy the piece I can do it myself but I don't know the name of it. PLEASE HELP.

What is the name of the very end of a shoe heel?
isn't it called an insole?
Reply:Insole.
Reply:I think they're called Tap Lifts. Pics of them are below in an ebay auction I found.
Reply:Hey , in Europe we call them talonettes , because they are the end of 'les talons' = french for heels .
