Where can I buy a "No Heels" sign? The reason why is....?

We have wooden floors and we are letting our apartment. Therefore we do not want the tenants to ruin the floor. we have seen a sign - picture of a ladies high heeled shoe with a red line through it.....but we don't where to buy one from. Thanks.

Where can I buy a "No Heels" sign? The reason why is....?
Good luck enforcing that one
Reply:Make your own sign! I've attached a link to a pic with a high heel with a diagonal line through it....use MS Word or Photoshop or any photo editing software and just add whatever words you want to it. Then print it out on a color printer and go to a FedEx/Kinko's shop and have it laminated.

Of course, just because you put up this sign, there's no law that says people can't walk around your rented apartment with heels....unless you specify it on the rental contract.
Reply:Sorry u are in a rude awakening.

figure on refinishing ur floors.

cause a 'no high heel' clause will not make ur place lease able nor will it hold up in courts.

just figure on refinishing floors.
Reply:try a hard ware store
Reply:I can tell you now, you can't do that.

That is illegal to require someone to remove their shoes..that falls under "lifestyle" there are some religions that do/do not remove their shoes for various reasons.

If you want to protect the floors, buy area rugs.

You can't buy one, you'll have to pay to have one custom made, but there is no point to it.

If you are THAT paranoid about the apartment being damaged, then renting IS NOT for you. You will have damages of some type...that is part of renting.

You think high heels are the only thing that will ruin a floor? How about spilled liquids, wrong cleaners, dropping heavy things, scooting furniture that will mar it moving furniture in and out, etc.

PS: Just because you put it in the rental contract does NOT equal legal. Too many Yahoo "wannabe" lawyers spitting out that very incorrect advice.
Reply:Try Searching the internet for "no high heels sign"

Also try a graphics search.
Reply:You can't do that. Why don't you just put carpet in there or buy area rugs?
Reply:Put it in the lease and tell them verbally.

What do you think about these heels?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Designer-Sandal-Blac...

Do you like them?

Should I wear them with skirt or capri?

What do you think about these heels?
Classic and timeless! Skirts would look sexy and fun, and dress it down with black (or any other color I guess) pants.

Good Luck and Hope I helped!
Reply:oh baby those are some hot heels. skirt%26gt; but hey I'm a dude so don't take my word for it.

Also, that model has beautiful feet %26amp; ankles. If your feet and ankles are uglier than hers, don't buy them.

Reply:Those are cute!!! I would think skirt first but they would work with capries and a dress top too.
Reply:Super Cute!!!! buy them NOW!!! your legs will look great in them, you could rock them with a skirt or capris depending on the top!!!

Is it fair for women to wear high heels if the guy is short?

I wonder how Tom cruise used to feel when married to Nicole Kidman?... allegedly it was said that he hated it so she would wear lower heeled shoes.

My man's tall, and i love my heels.

Yes, now will come over here and walk on my back with those please, hehehe.

Reply:tom cruise is a d*ck and i'm glad that nicole dumped him. if a guy can't so out with a tall women and feel bad then she needs to dump him too. i know guys that love tall women .. the taller the better. but that does'nt mean that shorter women are any different ..its what ever turns you on.

note: i'm tall
Reply:I guess if their in love it doesnt matter, does it?

I had relationships based on the superficial, you might lose out on a wonderful relationship searching for suitable height...
Reply:i love tall elegent women and as for high heels yeah baby and im a wheelchair user!!
Reply:I am about 2 inches taller than my boyfriend. He actually likes it when I wear heels because he thinks I am sexy in high heels
Reply:Tom's a freak, but yes if your taller than your man-don't wear heels. Be nice to your Hobbits...
Reply:I love it when the sheila is taller than me; it's a huge turn on.
Reply:Yes I guess it is fair but they shouldn't do it if it makes the guy feel uneasy...

for some reason...
Reply:i think its pretty awkward.. my ex bf was d same my height so i never wore high heels coz i dnt want him 2 look shorter than me....
Reply:I think it's fine. He shouldn't be so self conscious. But I'm short, so it's not hard to be taller than me.
Reply:lol, no. I would rather see a short man next to a tall woman than two persons of the same size and... same type of shoes, lmao!
Reply:I used to be in a relationship with a guy an inch taller than myself and yes, I felt it was unfair to tower over him, mainy because he was only 5"3 anyway so most people towered over him and as his girlfriend I felt it was a nice gesture to be the one looking up to him as opposed to down!
Reply:women should ALWAYS wear high heels REGUARDLESS of how tall the guy is...
Reply:My husband is the same height as me, being 5"4". At first, I felt funny towering over him and I'd wear flat shoes. However, I love my high heels so I currently wear them again. It doesn't bother me anymore.
Reply:Don't give up your heels. Only insecure men will not like them. Whats the big deal if your taller then the man? I don't get that!

I thought only size mattered....(LOL).....:o)
Reply:Yes, it is. It isn't the woman's fault if her man is short. If Tom Cruise minded her, he shouldn't have married her.
Reply:Yes, it is
Reply:Tom could have brought platforms back!
Reply:tom cruise felt inadequate. as he should.

High heels shoes or flat shoes?

why??

High heels shoes or flat shoes?
I can't walk in flat shoes, they make me feel like a nothing.

My body was designed for high heels and I love them.
Reply:High ones when im feeling sexy, flats when i want comfort
Reply:Flats! I wore heels for too many years while working as a waitress and I managed to wreck both my achilles tendons. I still wear heels for outings, maybe once every couple months, but I do yoga soon after so it doesn't flare up (down dog with knees bent seems to give the best stretch). For my wedding, I had a major flare up a month before, my tendons were swollen wider than my ankle bones so I had to wear slippers and I have permanent scar tissue around them so my pretty ankles I was trying to show off are ruined!
Reply:heels :) i reccomend the Coach ones, so hot!
Reply:Flats....they're just more comfortable! And by the way, you can feel just as sexy in a pair of flats, yo. ;)

Reply:high heels!!!
Reply:Flats!!! While high heels are waaaaaaaaaay more sexy, I start to die in them after an hour, so I stick to flats. lol
Reply:I htink it depens on what your going to. More casual should be flats with a cute dress so they are more comfertible. To a more high class place or dressed up place go with high heels they look better.
Reply:High heels because they are sexy and they make me feel sexy
Reply:It depends on the outfit I'm wearing. I prefer to be comfortable either way, but some outfits look better depending on the type shoe you pair with it.

The shorts may be a little short for those. A lower heel would be better

And Instead of brownish-black shorts, get actual black shorts. The brown tone in the shorts you own may make the shorts look like they used to be black, but the color got distorted somehow. Black shorts are much hotter.

Reply:I'm all for heels with shorts but these two shades clash so don't do it...These shorts would look lovely with gladiator sandals however or a different colour heel :)
Reply:I think those shoes are too high and too clunky to wear with shorts. You'd be better off with cute open shoes, maybe a little heel. Flats are better though.

I like the shorts and the shoes are lovely...just maybe not together.

Really need help finding a certain style of shoe...?

...either in a store in Central California or online. I need a white peep-toe sling-back high-heeled shoe, a look from the 1940s or 50s (I think). Please, nothing more than a 3" heel and the more affordable it is, the better! Something that looks like Lucille Ball would've wore it. I have a very vintage looking dress that absolutely requires this shoe and I really need help, any provided will be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Red Shoe hanging from neighbors front door knob?! What does this mean?

So I live in a townhouse, and my neighbor is a young woman about 25. She lives alone. I don't know for sure if she works, because I never really see her come or go at any normal intervals. Every once in awhile, she will hang a red high heeled shoe (kind of like an ornament on a string) from her front door knob. It will hang their for about a week or so, and then it disappears for awhile. What does this mean?

How do I clean the inside of dance shoes? ballroom heels specificlly?

i spilt soda in my dance bag and it filled my ballroom patent leather heels, the outsides i cleaned with a wet cloth, but the inside smells like soda and will probably become gross. will just soap and water work? or are they ruined?

How do I clean the inside of dance shoes? ballroom heels specificlly?
Just rinse them with cold water quickly - don't let them soak, and wipe them out with a towel. Let them dry before you wear them again.

Smelling like soda is not a problem, LOL, but the sugar is. You want to rinse out all that sugar. If it was a diet soda - don't worry about it, just wear it.

Ballroom shoes are more robust then they may seem.
Reply:Usually the inside of a ballroom shoe is made out of soft leather. this can be rinsed off with water, or a mild eye make up remover can also work if the sugar does not want to come off with just a cloth and water.

If the soda spilt onto the soul, which is piggs leather, keep it there, its a great non slip trick for wooden floors, we do it when we dance comps.
Reply:Why don't you ask the people who sell dance shoes!! What do we who wear street shoes know about cleaning dance shoes? There are compounds used to clean the soles which would lead me to believe that there are shoe cleaners to ressurect your shoes.

How many of u wore/wear high heels during pregnancy?

I'm 24 weeks, 6 days %26amp; still wear high heel shoes 2-1/2-3 inches. My mom %26amp; everyone in my family tells me that's it's not good for me to do this, but my dr doesn't seem to have a problem with it. He doesn't say anything about it. Have anyone ever had any problems with wearing heels during pregnancy?

How many of u wore/wear high heels during pregnancy?
I wore high heels all the time before being preg. Now that I am, just as far as you too, flat shoes make my back hurt terribly. My midwife never said anything about the heels either, she actually wanted to know where I got them. But I'm tired of everyone else yelling at me for it. But if it starts to bug me, then I'll switch to the more so annoying flat shoes that seem to kill my back ^.^
Reply:generally when it comes to your physical ability while pregnant... if you were used to it before it's probably okay to do it during. for example: if you were an avid runner/swimmer/cyclist, it's okay while pregnant as long as you can handle it. and as long as you don't have any complications. also use your common sense, if you went bunji jumping all the time or if your wearing 4 inch heels while there is ice everywhere... it's probably time to stop for a while! i can't imagine high heels would pose a huge threat if your very used to them... maybe as your pregnancy goes on and you can see your feet, maybe switch to some kitten heels or shorter wedges.
Reply:I wear them all the time my family and boyfriend also keep telling me that i should not be wearing them but my Dr. thinks it's ok. and plus i don;t really see a problem. I wear them to work everyday 31 Weeks with a Boy
Reply:I didn't wear them during pregnancy. Thing is, your back is going to start hurting at some point somewhat -- wearing heels is not good for your back whether you are pregnant or not. I go for comfort now before I go for the sexy look -- it's not worth it. Another issues could be slipping off the heel and falling -- that's not too safe. OBGYN doctors are not back doctors. They probably don't realize how bad hgh heels are for women.
Reply:If you can do it , then there should not be a problem. I was never comfortable in heels and wear then only when necessary . As long as you are still farly well balanced, keep wearing them.
Reply:no..no..no.... that is not a risk Id be willing to take!.....I would be afraid of falling, and you if you fell and fell on your stomach you would seriously hurt the baby..maybe even kill it.

For the safety of my child I could go 9 months without wearing heels.
Reply:I don't think that it is dangerous for the baby or anything. There are some reasons why you may want to reconsider it at some point. First of all, heels aren't really so healthy for your body anyway and the added weight from being pregnant will stress your joints and lower back more.

Also I think when you are later in pregnancy you get an added dose of hormone that makes your joints/muscles looser to help in delivery. That will make it much easier to strain your back or sprain your ankle or something if you are wearing heels. You don't want to be in labor or even just like eight months pregnant trying to get around with a bad back strain or something.
Reply:me!!
Reply:I'm a guy, so well, obviously I can't answer the direct question, but a little common sense never hurt.

Now, of course, I see no way that wearing high heels could directly affect your baby, but a couple of things comes to mind. One, it's probably really bad for your feet. High heels have always struck me as something that might do damage to your feet, not to mention with the extra weight.

Honestly, you're not gonna be "fashionable" when your pregnant. The "extra 20 pounds" look probably won't be coming in style any time soon. But, I don't think there's much reason to care anyways. It's not fair for people to give you grief for it when you're pregnant.
Reply:The biggest problem is that as you get bigger you get unbalanced and it could increase your chances of falling. If you are comfortable in heels then you are fine, just be careful.
Reply:its not bad but then again its not a good idea because u might fall and something bad might happen to u and the baby and nobody want that to happen
Reply:i just had my baby, wearing high heels shoes doesn't affect the baby, the only harm is if its too much on the mom, if you accidently trip its harder to regain balance, wearing high heels during pregnancy is fine, i did, i stopped about 8 mnths because my feet started to swell and i felt heavier and in the later months you may start to feel unbalanced, it just became easier and safer to wear flats, just be careful in your heels you would not want to trip and try to regain balance on a heel....
Reply:It's fine unless you fall

what else did you expect?
Reply:My doctor said as long as my feet can stand it, and I didn't fall the shoes I wear do not have any effect on my body.. I say rock on... I love my shoes. I am a shoe fanatic so the fact that I could wear them all was great.
Reply:Well, I was told by a doctor that if you are used to wearing heels then it's completely fine! I wore my stillettos all the way through. I was pregnant, not dead to the fashion world!

What is the attraction with high heels (and boots)?

I adore a girl in high heels, especially if they are on a pair of knee-length or thigh-length boots. So do many other men.

...but what is the attraction? I know Iove girls in boots, stiletto heeled shoes, but I can't put my finger on why it's sexy...

What is the attraction with high heels (and boots)?
Did you ever see a man look good in high heels ?

No, because you gotta be young feminine and slim , all bum and boobs.

Oh, and it gives girls a nice hight so you dont have to bend your neck too much to kiss 'em.

Also the extra height gives some women a confidence boost, its a power thing!

Lots of women wear them to please (or tease).

They know that guys like you have a fetish for their footware so you are like putty in their hands.

Reply:Not sure but it`s hard to define why us men find many things sexy for example stocking and naughty underwear to me looks better than someone naked. I think men are turned on by visual rather than mental things but asking why is hard to explain you might as well ask why do we get turned on by images

Reply:All the Answers! Plus it's simply FASHION!! For centuries, women in China bound their daughters' feet, crippling them, successfully breaking their arches--frequently, the small toes falling off due to lack to blood supply---ALL for the sake of fashion!!! They successfully crippled their children/daughters to have small, pointed feet!! This helped marry them off; kept them from running away; kept them obedient and "sexually" admired by men!! It's the same concept in the Western world! To be sexy and desired! I crippled along on the 3" French heels for years when I was in the throes of "fashion"! No longer--I love my great sneakers now--and wouldn't put a pair of "high heels" on for all the love or money!!
Reply:Apparently it's a scientific thing, the way women's legs flex in heels, it makes your legs look longer and improves the female posture, especially with the general lack of posture seen these days!

Apparently its an age-old thing, nothing new.

well about if you were 100 ft tall you would were about 60in heels because being five ft you were an average of 3in heels so 20 fives in a 100 so 60 in heels

i personally love wearing heels and if you do then that is ok, but you have to make sure that he knows that you are wearing heels because you like to not becuase he wants you to.

Reply:You should wear the shoes that YOU like when YOU want to wear them.

No one should tell you how to dress especially "from now on"... plus 5" heels 24-7 that's just weird.
Reply:tell him to wear them.
Reply:heels rule
Reply:Ask him to wear 6" heels for a day and then tell him to ask you that same question again!

He's just a boyfriend... you don't need to listen to him!
Reply:he must want ur posture to get all screwed up then. high heels are really really bad for ur feet and posture. do NOT only wear heels that high.
Reply:I agree with answer #1 and also tell him they are unhealthy for you to wear. Wearing a heel that high can cause problems with your achillies tendon if you wear it all the time. Not to mention cramping in your feet and toes after you remove them. If your BF wants to wear shoes with heels higher than 5" tell him to spend a day walking around in them and then if he still wants you to you will, but I'll be he changes his mind real quickly.
Reply:Just remember that wearing heels that high all the time can have negative physical effects on your feet, legs and back. It would be better if he'd accept you wearing them only at certain times.
Reply:Wtf? Tell him you're not a stripper.
Reply:5 inches?? Are you kidding? I'm not even sure if those exist....

And do you guys seriously love each other? I mean, I know if a guy asked me to do that I'd dump him within about a second.
Reply:dump him? why should he get to tell you what height shoes to wear? that's kinda controlling if you ask me..?
Reply:That's insane! Sometimes it just isn't practical to wear a heel! As a rule I don't wear anything lower than 3", but 5" all the time is just nuts. And sometimes flats are necessary, you don't wear heels to the beach or the park....your b/f needs to wake up and realize how uncomfortable heels can be. He is being unreasonable....but it's your back and your feet, it you want to go along with it, by all means, go right ahead.

Love the look of high heels but can't stand the pain?

Arch Pain / Heel Pain

DESCRIPTION

Over-pronation, or flat feet, is a common biomechanical, problem that occurs in the walking process when a person's arch collapses upon weight bearing. This motion can cause extreme stress or inflammation on the plantar fascia, possibly causing severe discomfort and leading to other foot problems. Without properly supported arches, even walking can pull the body out of alignment and cause painful stress, strain, and fatigue of the lower extremities.

HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT

Pain or fatigue in your arch, heel, knee, leg, or lower back.

However, I also I plan to look into Cole Haan heels with Nike Air technology and Taryn Rose heels, which were designed by a foot doctor.
Reply:how about get a size bigger and put padding in it or how about get new ones that are more comfortable hehe think of that
Reply:I NEVER wear heals. Heels were invented by a man, a man who didn't care that it would give women back problems and other pain as long as it looks good.
Reply:You havent got to wear high heels, stuff it, you want to get comfy shoes, dont be daft. (and im not a fuddy duddy either)
Reply:You can get jelly pads for the balls of your feet, they really do help. search the net for party shoes high heel pads.
Reply:I always wear heels and only certain ones hurt. You can find a good comfortable heel, it's just a matter of finding it... Target has the jelly soles for heels. I would suggest buying some %26amp; it may help you. I love Steve Madden brand heels, they are a little more pricey but it is a great shoe.

Hope this helps! :)

Reply:They are quite pretty! A graduation party will be warm enough to wear them, but have a backup plan in case of rain.
Reply:yes they are! there cute too! make sure you have a good dress to go with it maybe a gold dress that goes to ur knees and a strapless tube and flowy! just a suggestion whatever looks best on you!
Reply:yes
Reply:Yeah I bet you will have the best pair of shoes on!
Reply:I am in love. Those shoes are absolutely gorgeous. Nice dress and you will knock them dead.

I'm 5ft 7.. is this too tall for heels?

I'm 5ft 7 and love buying and looking at high heeled shoes (3inches +) however, i just feel too tall in them once got them on, and they usualy end up at the back of my wardrme never worn. Im just wondering do other women my sort of height have this problem? I do have short friends and i think that maybe the case, plus my bf is only 5ft10, and with heels i just feel so manly in height, but so femine with heels on! He also says that heels are for shorter people.. meaning not me :(

I'm 5ft 7.. is this too tall for heels?
its not a matter of being too tall. it's a matter of having the confidence.
Reply:why would 5'7" be to tall for heels? Sounds like you are scared of heights. Whats he know about heels? Are you sure he is straight? Go for what makes you feel good and dont worry about his opinion of you in heels.
Reply:Short men tall women what does it matter all the same lying down.
Reply:I'm 5'9" and always wear high heels. My boyfriend is 5'11". He jokes I'm his trophy. :)
Reply:No Way!! Its great that you are tall!!

I am tiny and it is really annoying!!

xxxx
Reply:You are never too tall for heels. There are drag queens taller than you and they wear 5 inch stiletto platforms. And supermodels wear 3inch heels and up and they are just as tall as you.

So work those heels honey. If the drag queens and the super models can do it, so can you!!!!!
Reply:its weather you feel like wearing them and like them... who cares about your height... i should wear heels at a mere 5ft1 but i wear flats all the time!! im not bothered with my height so neither should you its your choice and if people say your too tall tough S*** plus your feet will look sexy!
Reply:no as long as you wear them with convidence and you know how to walk in heels its all good
Reply:i think that you are to tall for heels..there are many other shoes that are feminine and nice looking.
Reply:you can wear high heeled shoes!! 5'7 is not that tall that you cant wear heels. maybe your boyfriend tells you that because he wants to seem more manly when he is walking around with you in 3 in + heels and he wants to feel better about himself. if i were you i would still wear heels, but buy the thinner ones that are like 2 in. so that they look femine and have the look that you love but the height isnt as tall.
Reply:I'm 5'7 and I wear heels everyday!! I love them. They make me feel so girly. Now, I will say that my husband is also 5'7, so when I wear heels, he is shorter than me. For some people, they think that thats a bad thing, but it doesn't bother me at all. I have two things I love, my husband and my heels. Do what feels right for you.,....don't let others influence your style!!
Reply:You are never too tall for heels! I can understand because I am 5'7 myself and refuse to wear them, but I still wear wedges sometimes:) It depends on your confidence level. If you want to go out to dinner where you can feel sexy with pretty feet but you never have to stand up lol, thats what i do!:) Wear your heels then, but never reduce yourself to flipflops bc your bf is insecure;)
Reply:im 5"8 my fella is 5"10 i always wear them on a night out i love been tall.
Reply:No way jose! A woman is never too tall for heels=) Wear whatever makes you feel sexy.
Reply:good job
Reply:Absolutelly not!! High heels on a tall woman makes her look elegant. Walk tall!!
Reply:I know exactly how you feel I'm the same height as you, but trust me you proberly look great, you just feel tall next to your short boyf (no offence intended). Heels look fantastic on women, it makes there whole posture more feminine and attractive. ie. why they stick models in them.

He's just saying that because he's insecure about his height, and you wearing heals makes him feel smaller. Seems unfair for him to say that to you, I had a boyf like that before.

You probably look hot and model like, and maybe he finds it threatning. maybe you should think of ditching the boyf for a taller one, one who bigs you up and doesn't put you down to make himself feel better. x
Reply:I'm 5ft 7 and love to wear heals, I never feel too tall in them so it must be about confidence. Just wear them girl and go out on the town!!!!
Reply:You make me giggle. I'm 5'11" and my boyfriend is 6'1", I wear at least 3 inch heels to work and when we go out sometimes. He loves it, even if I am a little taller than him.

I've asked others this question before at work and they say you're never too tall for heels. I have to agree. :)
Reply:Lots of guys find tall women attractive - it makes you stand out in a crowd.

Maybe that's what your boyfriend is worried about.

Don't feel manly with heels on; I'm only 5'2 and I can't walk in heels! I'm jealous of you, girl! Heels look great on a woman of your height.

In my opinion, you need to wear your heels.... and get a boyfriend who isn't such a pathetic wimp that he feels threatened by how good you look. Whilst you're at it, get a taller boyfriend ;-)

xx Emmie
Reply:High heels look so sexy, and your height is just perfect (not 2 tall not 2 short), keep wearing them, enhance your tallness and your legs.
Reply:Well I'm 5'9'' and i were heals out 3-4 inch ones, plus my hubby is only 5'7''.
Reply:I am 5ft 7 as well and I own no shoes with a shorter heel height than 3 inches. I have gotten so used to them that I don't leave the house with out heels. I guess I am the opposite, I'm self conscience without heels. My husband is 5 ft 11 and he doesn't mind. I think maybe it's your boyfriends hang up and not yours.
Reply:i don't think soo...
Reply:If you want to wear them then why not. Who cares if your bf is only 5' 10"? he doesn't have to put his feet in then does he.
Reply:The big modeling agencies won't hire models unless they're at least 5' 8 - and they wear heels.
Reply:no go for it
Reply:I am 5'8, and I love big heels..even though I can't wear them like I used to
Reply:well im 5'11 and i only wear heels if i go clubbing ans alot of ppl who say to me say why do you wear heels u too tall as it is so answer to you question is no you height is just right so go ahead girl
Reply:hells are for all of us. i'm 5'8 and love heels. the short people shouldn't be so short. i love feeling tall. love you and if he can't handle you on his level tell him to grow. ha (just a joke)
Reply:I am 5'9" and live in heels-- the taller the better. So 5'7" is NOT too tall. My boyfriend is 5'11", and he has no problem with me being taller than him when I wear my heels.

Stand up straight, don't slouch, and be proud of your height.

Peep-toe heels at Xmas party?

Hi, girls)

I live in Denver area. It is snowy and cold here. I am going to a corporate Xmas Party that will be held in a casino. I am wondering if it will be appropriate to wear peep-toe high-heels shoes. I mean, it is winter time, wouldn't I look a little "out of place"? Thanks!

Peep-toe heels at Xmas party?
No, its not out of place. Its not a sandal and you will be inside. I would wear them.
Reply:You're kind of right. It is winter and they would look alittle "out of place" You should wear maybe some high heeled pumps :)

Hope you have a great time at xmas party! :)
Reply:You will be braving the elements, but sometimes it hurts to be fabulous. Plus, standing out is not always a bad thing, I say go for it!
Reply:It would be pretty outside. But,won't you be cold if its snowy.

I would wear boots and then, change at the party

good luck merry x-mas and hope that party is fun :]]
Reply:I dont see anything wrong with it as long as your toe nails are done:)
Reply:If you are not too cold to wear them - why not?

You probably shouldn't be wearing a summer dress and flip flops, but paired with something cute, those peep-toes would totally not look out of place!

Have fun!!
Reply:It would work, I'd pair them with tights though.
Reply:By all means wear them, but do it without stockings or tights, though. I think it look a bit odd if you wear stockings with them. Make sure you paint and shape your toenails nicely. That just seems to make it look nicer.
Reply:yes you can wear them

Men, would you take to wearing high heels?

No? Why not?

Did you know that high heels were invented by and for men? The purpose of their creation was for cavalry soldiers, they would hook the heel into the stirrups so they could stand up in the saddle and fight with long axes, swords and javelins.

Much later on, ONLY male nobility were permitted to wear heels (shoes and boots) in order to appear taller than their subjects and common folks.

So how the heck did women take this away from us? I think we should take them back! What do you think? :-)

Men, would you take to wearing high heels?
you damn right dude!!!! how the heck did we allow this

do you know that in old France only noble men wear make up?

I still have my 2-inches-heel cowboy-style horse riding long boots, and yes, they do make me a little taller HA!!
Reply:Dear Scuba Dude,

It's called a "Cowboy boot". Most are about an inch and a half to two inches

Heels actually do make since so long as you are riding... a western saddle or a motorcycle... But are HE|| on the feet of any one that walks in them.

The “high heel became a fashion statement for women because the average difference in the height of a man and a woman was about three to fore inches. And a 3” heel put her at just about the right height for kissing.

Reply:I would wear heels. Stillettos...
Reply:Fallacy of origin: things are always what they began as (things don't change)

Most men don't ride horses today, and if they did there are better shoes to wear. I do notice many Western boots (USA) do have some heel height, though they do not pose the same stress on the foot and peril to walking that "high heels" do.

Personally, no one ought to inflict these upon themself, male or female.

;-)
Reply:In the 70s we wore high heels called "stacks" Some were as much as 8" tall.
Reply:You can have them back!!!
Reply:They are called Elevator shoes for short men. Tom Cruise and Sylvester Stallone all wear them.

How do you ladies wear HIGH HEELS?!?

omg, ladies, how do you do it! i just recentually bought a couple of very expensive high heel shoes, an jesus, i can barely go an hour walking around in them before my feet start hurting so bad, iv never actually worn high heels before, but i wanted to start and they are SO painful, my heels chap, my toes chap.. does your feet have to get used to them or something? its not actualy foot pain like the bone or anything its just my skin chaping from being held in that position.

How do you ladies wear HIGH HEELS?!?
Wear your heels around the house as much as possible, and you will eventually get used to them.If they continue to be uncomfortable, try an insole, which make them more comfy.
Reply:aww im sorry! you have to break them infirst, getting them used to your feet. so i know it will be painful, but before walking around in public in them, wear them around the house all day for like 1 or 2 days and then they wont hurt as much. hope this helped! and good luck!
Reply:try breaking them in first, like walking around your house. whatever you do, don't wear them out in public unless you have and extra pair of sneakers or sandals in your purse or something. also, if you've never worn high heels before, try getting a pair that aren't too high. if you get a pair that's too high, your feet ache and ache. also, wear high heels for short periods of time if you can't do long periods of time. like, for an hour or two or three each day or something.
Reply:When you wear high heels the most important part is how well they fit--not the brand name. A little bit of discomfort is normal but any rubbing on the toes is a bit excessive.

It's normal to have to "break in" shoes and stretch them a bit. They may occassionally give you a heel blister when they're new but they should never be rubbing your toes--this is how people get corns of their toes!

The width of the shoe and how well your toes slide into a pointy shoe if that's what you're opting for, is really, really important. If the shoe feels too snug around your toes--pass them up and try on another style.
Reply:As one of my drunk friends once mistakenly said Pain is beauty. Weve lived by that moto for some time now and it holds true.
Reply:LOL!!!! I only laugh because my first job (30+) years ago required me to wear business suits (the skirt and jacket deal) and high heels!!! I worked for 20 years in high heels!! I gave them up when I caught a heel and broke my ankle!!!! I swear the heel caught and I heard bones crunching!! and they were my bones!!! My toes are evil, my heels are evil---all thanks to fashion!!! I now wear loafers to work!! I love high heels--but thanks to them I fall off my loafers now!!!!!!
Reply:5 Tips to Protect Your Feet When Wearing High Heels

We know you love your high heels, so we won't even hint at the fact that you'd be better off in sneakers. At the same time, what good is that great pair of red patent-leather stilettos if all you can do is sit and admire them?

If youre going to wear heels, WebMD combined advice from our two experts, along with suggestions from the American Podiatric Association, to protect your feet.

1. Get the best-fitting high heel possible. While this may seem like a given, stop and think: How many pairs of high heels cause your feet to slide to the front, leaving a gap big enough for a small cell phone behind your heel? Mogul says high heels that don't fit properly cause the front of the foot to fly forward, creating more pressure -- and pain -- on toes. Look for narrow heels with a snug but not tight fit to correct the problem.

2. Cushion, cushion, cushion. While a full-shoe insert can help, if you have pain in the ball of the foot -- or you'll be standing in your heels a long time -- invest in silicone metatarsal pads. They look like flattened gummy bears, but they do a super job of shock absorption, says Morin. "It's like replacing the fat padding you lost."

3. Wear a thicker heel for stability. "A thicker heel will give you better balance and may help relieve some pressure by distributing the weight on your foot more evenly, says Morin. Alternating heel heights can also help reduce problems with the Achilles tendon.

4. Pay attention to the "slope" or "pitch" of the heel. While some 4-inch heels will give you a straight drop down to the flatbed portion of the shoe, others will be a more gradual slope. This may be easier on the arch, says Morin, and might help relieve some pain in the ball of the foot.

5. Wear open-toe high heels to relieve pressure on corns and calluses. See a podiatrist to have corns and calluses professionally removed and correct the problem thats causing them. But if that's not possible, opt for open-toe shoes to take pressure off inflamed areas.

Good luck!
Reply:It sounds like you did not fit them right at the store, or purchsed inexpensive, cheaply made shoes. Are they leather? If so they will strectch, or you can hav them strectched in the needed places. Do they have padding? If not add some metatarsal pads. Is the toe box long or short. Try European styles that have a longer toe box, but hug the sides of the foot better preventing sliding. Lastly, use sandals instead of closed toes..just be sure the toe area strap is wide and hugs the sides of your foot. One large toe area strap is better then the thin styl straps. Good luck and look sexy.

High Heels Classification?

My Q is, which high heel shoe looks normal when worn by a women is it 2,3,4 inch?

n any inch like 5,6,7 does that makes a normal women look like a striper, bar-dancer or a fetish mistress i mean which inch looks normal n decent n which looks odd n strange?

High Heels Classification?
I think 2" is ideal but 1 to 3" is fine. If you are particualry short, I thin a 4" heel can be OK but 4" and above is usually where the word "slutty" comes to mind.

If you are not sure how they will look on you its time to go show sopping! Try them on and get some opinions!
Reply:I would say that anything over 3" is over-kill.

Normal business or date attire heels generally vary from 1" to 3".

Do you think high heels make a woman more attractive?

I personally love heels and wear them to work also. What are your thoughts on high heel shoes.. A couple of pairs of mine can be seen here...

http://uk.video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid...

Do you think high heels make a woman more attractive?
I wear high heels virtually every day and I do think that they accentuate a woman's figure .

My high heels do not hurt for three reasons.

Firstly, I have practised wearing high heels - although I wear 4" heels frequently, I do wear 5" heels for special ocasions.

Secondly, I do not move onto a higher heel without a lot of practice.

Thirdly, I make sure any new pair are comfortable and well-fitting. (I cannot abide women who whinge that they brought a "must-have" pair of shoes, but find them painful to wear)
Reply:Not much a difference, but it sure makes their feet hurt.
Reply:You have a very good taste in shoes and you should definitely continue to wear your heels. As a man I really appreciate women making that extra effort to be pretty and feminine. I'd gladly offer my arm for support if you need it ;-)

Have you noticed that men are more gallant towards women who dress in a truly feminine fashion, i.e. skirts and heels?
Reply:I love women for who they are, but heels do make them look more attractive.
Reply:Beats me, I just love sexy shoes!!!
Reply:Yes. Usually it depends on the color of them. I know green looks good on me because it really brings out the color of my eyes. They also can make you feel younger.
Reply:Absolutely they can make a woman more attractive.
Reply:yes, i do like high heels, although when your around guys then it gives them the bigger idea to look at a womens but and try to get the women in the heels to go out with them.

i really hope this helped
Reply:Yep. They sure do!!
Reply:I love to wear heels as well. I also think they make us look more attractive. My boyfriend says he loves to see women in heels because they show off women calf muscles. So heels are a BIG PLUS for men who like legs..lol
Reply:yes
Reply:women in heels is super hot. I love women in heels, its real sexy.

My mother told me that I cannot wear shoes with heels over an inch high while pregnant?

But I keep seeing pictures of maternity models wearing up to 4 and 5 inch high heels while heavily pregnant, I am now confused! I am only 13 weeks pregnant and its my birthday in 4 weeks, can I wear heels on my birthday?

My mother told me that I cannot wear shoes with heels over an inch high while pregnant?
Yes, wear them! Your centre of gravity wont be off yet anyway, but even when it is, if you're used to wearing heels you'll be fine. I'm not often out of them (unless in my New Rocks) and even when pregnant (I'm 37 weeks with my second) I still wear killer heels 4-5inches high. I do find that by this stage boots are more comfortable though, probably because they support the ankle more - I wear lace up ones and do them extra tight at the ankle.
Reply:if you're an adult who's pregnant, why is your mother telling you what to do?
Reply:Its only dangerous because you can easily trip. So be careful if you do wear them.
Reply:Yes, but not too high heels.
Reply:The reason for no heels, or shorter heels while pregnant is because your center of gravity shifts while pregnant. It gives you a higher risk of falling actaully, plus later on, wearing tighter shoes hurts your feet. Comfy shoes are best!!
Reply:yes that was always said it puts a strain on your back
Reply:There is no reason why you can't wear heals when you're pregnant. It's not advisable though. You are more unsteady when in heels, and as you grow bigger, your posture will change and they could cause you to ache. Your mam probably doesn't want you to suffer.
Reply:hun, you can wear what you please
Reply:well tell that to jennifer lopez because she wore 5 inch heels to her baby shower!! actually if you are wearing heels it is recommended that you not wear less than 1 inch ones, something about strain on your back. but i definitely wouldn't go for 3 or 4 inch heels. really, if you are comfortable wearing them then go for it, you are early in and shouldn't have any issues. later in pregnancy may be a different story, it seems like balance and swelling would come into play. good luck! happy early birthday.
Reply:Just be careful, it is more dangerous when you are further along..because you tend to be off balance.
Reply:Twaddle!! Wear what you like.
Reply:I think it's good to remember if those models are really pregnant instead of just wearing a prosthetic that makes them look that way for the picture it's still good to remember they are probably only wearing them for the pictures and the camera shoot.

Overall i have been advised also by my doctor when i was pregnant you should avoid high heels unless only an inch high. It could cause a bad fall that could put the baby in jeapordy and i'm sure you want the baby to be as full term and healthy as possible. If you want to wear heels for a special occasion, i would wear only 1 or 1/2 inch heels that are not narrow at all, but only square sturdy heel shoes that would be safer to wear but i would say, don't do so as a general practice since it would be also hard on your feet and ankles during pregnancy and could cause swelling that you wouldn't normally see.

That is my advice.
Reply:yes you can wear heels. the only reason they say dont wear heels is because it can cause backache. there is no medical reason you cannot wear heels. so you will be fine. i wear them every now and then. it will do no harm. but if you wear heels all the time it can cause backache because of the angle.
Reply:What? It really depends on the person, but it is really up to you. It has no impact on your pregnancy other than soar feet if your heels are too high.
Reply:High heels arent going to help when it comes to carrying a large bump around - they dont give support and your centre of gravity isnt right, plus they are just not good for your back anyway. But thats only if you wear them non stop all the time. Once wont hurt.
Reply:It is because if you tripped and fell your mother is giving you good advice you can wear a nice pair of low shoes with a trousers and be safe and good luck with your pregnancy .
Reply:can you think of an answer for this daft question? sorry dont mean to be rude just showing you that this is silly, especially when your only 13 weeks! go out and wear the biggest heels ever, enjoy ur birthday!
Reply:It can be a bit risky wearing high heels during pregnancy...due to your centre of gravity shifting your balance is off, there's a risk of tripping and extra pressure put onto the calves due to high heels can lead to varicouse veins!

I'm 27 weeks am still being a bit naughty...I'm wearing my heels...but I'm only 5'2 so I'm tiny in flats!! I'd say as long as you feel comfortable and you're careful...why not!
Reply:just be careful wearing them, i wore them its fine, but i didnt wear them when i had a big bump an the baby was bigger! too uncomfortable

all the best x
Reply:my mom told me the same thing!!!! i am 21 weeks pregnant and i did wear 4 inch heels to a party!!! it wouldn't hurt to wear heels on your birthday!!!
Reply:the only reason they say you shouldnt wear heels while pregnant is because you center of gravity is already altered from the weight around your abdomen, thus making you a little more clumsy than usual.. heels just add to the risk of falling.. i think you should be ok as long as you are careful
Reply:I think your mom is just being protective just in case you might fall or something.
Reply:Think about your tiny baby three times before you take any decision...
Reply:yes you can, it actually helped me feel more balanced , but towards the end i stopped my feet got too swollen. but i loved wearing heels while pregnant just be careful to not fall.
Reply:Your center of balance changes when you are pregnant and you are not only more at risk of injury from falling, but also damaging your feet and ankles. Your mom is correct. Don't use models, who have unhealthy lifestyles in the first place, as your examples of proper living. However, if you are only 13 weeks pregnant, wear your 2.5 inch heels, if you want.
Reply:Thats a new one to me... Sounds like an old wives tail...

If you doc didn't tell you not to wear heels, then i wouldn't pay attention to your mother.

Yes you could twist your ankle but there is no more risk than usual.
Reply:I think u are aloud to wear the ones that are like 1-2 inches tall. thats what I remember my Dr telling me,....besides u are not even that far along, so why worry?
Reply:It's dangerous because with pregnancy comes a (sometimes) drastic change in your equilibrium. Not to mention a change in foot size and how easily they swell.

You're probably OK to wear a chunky heel but don't overdo it. You might regret it later- if you fall or if your feet hurt for days after
Reply:Yes - but be careful - your center of gravity shifts with the weight and you may fall. Or it can hurt your back.
Reply:I did, with all three of my babies.

My job requires me to be fairly dressy, so I wore them. Only thing was- they were very uncomfortable since my feet were swollen, and by the end, it was so bad I wore flats.

Since your thirteen weeks, in four you will be seventeen, right? That seems fine to me... get your heels on!

High heels, Make you difficult to cross your legs?

When you wear high heel shoe, It make you difficult to cross your leg over knee?

High heels, Make you difficult to cross your legs?
No, they actually make you look more sexier crossing your legs. You have to know how to do it with class and have your legs at slight angle with one leg hanging slightly higher. Classy women wear heels and cross their legs and look good at the same time. Practice it and practice gracefully standing up in heels.
Reply:Not sure if I understand your question. If I am reading it correctly, them my answer is NO. I wear high heels all the time and I have no difficulty crossing my legs. The only thing I have any problems with is running. Looks silly in heels and it is a good way to fall and bust your ***.
Reply:...no wat do heels change?
Reply:No, it doesnt. In fact, high heels are easier for me to wear than regular shoes. No difficulties..
Reply:no, not really.

it takes practice and you kind of have to tilt your legs to the side when you cross them with heels on.

you cross them and then tilt your legs to the side, that's what i do
Reply:Oh yes unless you know how to dangle your feet over your knees.

For beginners

You could start by crossing your legs near to the bottom of your feeet then work your way up as you get used to the feelings.

Good lady luck you will be a pro in no time
Reply:No, but makes my legs and butt look even hotter.
Reply:Nope. Same as wearing flats or flip flops. Makes no difference.
Reply:No. The heels shouldnt have any impact. You skirt might. Especially if you are wearing like a pencil skirt... tuck you feet under your chair and cross them...
Reply:no,thee on ur feet, u cros ur legs
Reply:No - why would it? They're on your feet, not knees...
Reply:no it actually makes it easier
Reply:No me just have to lift me leg higher init
Reply:Not if you do it right.
Reply:Uh...no?
Reply:Only my big wheels impeach me to cross my leg over knee !

White pointed ankle strap pump shoe?

Hi,

I really like the style of this shoe: http://www.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/e2/...

Now, the material is patent and the color is white. I work in a professional office and was looking for a white heel shoe to match with my outfit. My questions are::

1) is it OK to wear patent shoe to work?

2) Is this shoe still in fashion? (material wise)

3) Is it comfortable?

Thanks! Please also let me know if you know of any website where I can get cute/cheap dressy shoes.

Thanks!

White pointed ankle strap pump shoe?
Those shoes look fine to me. The only problem is that they may be a little too much for work, depending on your occupation. I work in an office but the dresscode is very liberal so they would be fine in my office space. There's a woman in my office who has shoes in that style except the material is red fake snakeskin and the heels look like ivory.

One of my favorite shoe-browsing sites is http://www.electriqueboutique.com . They even have shoes for as little as $4!
Reply:I am not a fan of white shoes worn in any setting except maybe as a bride, but thats just my personal opinion. The shoe is definitely in fashion but Im almost positive that is one of the most uncomfortable style of shoe ever. Good luck!

Anyways, a friend of mine has a pair of glittery high heel shoes that I'm absolutely in love with. We call them her "Vegas shoes". They look a lot like the these ones on the right, but in blue:

But other than that I've noticed a lot of girls wearing espidrilles (excuse the spelling) at the bars. So I would say thats whats in right now.

Reply:Right now, oxford heels are in style. Wear them with wide pants or skinny ones, and they look great!
Reply:i don't know about glitter..

wedges are in.

so are stilettos.

patent is definitely trendy right now.

bright colors and prints (bright red, zebra, etc).

classic black pointy or round toed stilettos are great.

Reply:Open toe jeweled heels are the trend now. either in silver or gold. according to Jimmy Choo company 4 inch heels are flying off the shelf. Mostly evening wear has seen a slew of embellishments. The trend is futuristic as can be seen in many a fashion design shows
Reply:Leopard print pumps or boots with high heels
Reply:I am seeing lots of white shoes with wooden stiletto heels, and lots of open toe shoes even for fall and winter. I have a pair of red and white spectator high heels from Prada. So far I have used them for two seasons and it looks like I can pull some outfits together for winter that will show off the cute and pricey shoes. Best of luck to you!!

HELP!! High heels make my feet hurt ..Is this Normal?
its okey sweetie when yu wear heels the first time they have to adjust to yur feet an they have to stretch ot till they fit fine . but yu should just make sure yu have the riqht size because they can leave a blister an wear loation an the payless socks so yur foot can qet easily in an slide around qivinq it more room .
Reply:well of coarse!

who doesnt have sore feat after wearing darling high heals!

you just need to break them in and make them comfe!
Reply:You just have to break them in and get used to them. They will eventually stop causing pain. I am used to heels up to 6" and they cause me some pain if I wear them more than a couple of hours.
Reply:Does your whole foot hurt if it does just supporters on the bottom of the shoe
Reply:Oh yes. 5 inches will kill you if youre not used to them...

Try getting gel self-adhesive stick on foot soles, they make it much better. You just stick them on top of where your foot would go, where your foot presses down against, and voila :)

Hope this helps ♥
Reply:Keep up the good work but check out the below site for tips....

Reply:i know this sounds dorky... but practice walking! if the shoes are platform, then idk what to tell you cuz those are pretty easy to walk in. but you should always step with your heel first and lead movement from the hips. soone you'll be totally used to it. :)
Reply:uhh yeahh haha
Reply:stupidest qeustion ever.

of course ur feet are gunna hurt if u dont normally

wear heels especially the first time and no one

really needs to know the color of ur heels.
Reply:Yes. Welcome to womanhood lol.

They hurt, but eventually you'll get used to it. Oh, and once your shoes are "broken in", then it will be a little better anyway.
Reply:Just give it time and keep wearing them. 5" heels are tough to wear for the first time. I wear 4" heels everyday with no problems now. Good luck and keep wearing them.
Reply:of course this is normal... you just have to break them in. and if its your first time wearing such high heels theyre bound to be uncomfortable
Reply:That is why I only wear tennies
Reply:Yes, all new shoes are uncomfortable for a while, especially when your feet are practically vertical all day! :)

Are heels actually bad for you? If yes why??
http://bp3.blogger.com/_U-xYg40tZlo/R33t...
Reply:no heels arent bad for you but closed toe heel sometimes mess up you feet like if there too tight you can get corns on your toes
Reply:if they were bad for you... it would be really hard to walk.
Reply:It depends.

Some people say heels are bad because they tend to cause feet pains, arthritis(sp?) when you get older.

I know people, including myself, who can walk/run/dance in heels all day.

Heels are comfy to me.

Oh wow...the person who said you cant have babies if youre under 18. Wow. What the heck is she on? I didnt know my sisternlaw who has been wearing heels way before she was 18 managed to have THREE kids all without the help of surgery. It amazes me how cluess people are now a days.
Reply:they might not seem bad for you now, but about 10-20 years down the road when you have back and feet problems, you will see...
Reply:i wear heels most of the time %26amp; have no problems. jus b sure that they fit comfortable and that ur toes aren't all scrunched up and i think you'll b ok %26lt;3
Reply:I don't think they're bad, but meh...I could be wrong.

I personally wear them every day when I go to work since I have to wear suits and heels are pretty much the only shoes that go with that dress code. I like them and so far I haven't had any problems.

^_^
Reply:I bet they are really bad if you are standing upon a waterbed or in a rubber boat!
Reply:no
Reply:They are horrible for your feet.
Reply:ppl say they are, but they make ur butt and ur legs look incredible. so meh,, i wear them all the time too. ofcourse i dont go hiking with heels lol, but i like to wear them most of the time. even if its a small heel sometimes-
Reply:if youre under 18 then yes they are bad, i dont remember what happens exactly but you wont be able to have babies without surgery

Why are clear heels considered as tacky?

I think about 50% of people (girls) think clear heeled shoes are kind of tacky, but some think them as trashy... why is that?

If nobody likes them...then why they have been selling clear heels in every store? they won't drop the style.. so what is going on?

Would you wear this for example?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Kenneth-Coles-Unlist...

Or these wedges?

http://cgi.ebay.com/DANGERIOUSLY-SEXY-Cl...

Why are clear heels considered as tacky?
cuz they are known as stripper shoes or hooker shoes, thats why :P
Reply:I think they look kinda cheap and stripper-ish. They're a little on the trashy side. The last ones you provided a link to aren't so bad, but only to go out to a club or something and only if the outfit isn't too revealing.
Reply:Clear heals are generally viewed as f%26amp;ck me pumps by guys...

High heels stores in Singapore?

I need some addresses of the shops that sells relly high "high-heels" shoes. 16cm+ heel sandals without platform.

Please provide detailed address because we will get there physically. If the store has a web site, that would be great. Thanks

Men: do you find flat shoes, just as sexy as high heels?!?

I love wearing both high and flat shoes mainly high heels but have always been curious what men prefer!!!!

Men: do you find flat shoes, just as sexy as high heels?!?
I really don't mind - I'm far more interested in the person than the shoes they're in...
Reply:thats bullshit men like heels flats are for fat chicks you morons!!! Report It

Reply:as a girl i find flats most comfy but i feel sexier and slimmer when i am wearing heels!

i'm interested to see what the blokes think!
Reply:it think they like high heels becasue it makes our posture more attractive to them
Reply:from above ones i think men like high heels
Reply:When dressing up then yeh heels are sexy but flats are perfect to make my date shorter and need to look up into my eyes more, definitely a winner!
Reply:personally i prefer high heels, its becoz of the angle that it curve your feet , make your calves seems thinner.

high heels with a tight short dress.......................... hmmmmm!
Reply:Honestly: We dont really look at your shoes!

That's more of a girl thing. Girls look at other girls and say "look what she's wearing"

Blokes dont care!!

xxx
Reply:For every day ware flats are the sensible option, but for those nights out, i like to see the ladies in heels
Reply:I personally don't like heels - especially if it also the type of shoe that has a pointy toe to it that make you look like you have a deformed foot.

I recognise that there is a time and a place for all types of footwear (but not pointy toes!!), so in the context of a glamourous evening out and wearing a lovely dress, trainers would look a little daft - but I am the kind of guy who's into plain, simple shirt and jeans - something just simple, so flat shoes / trainers is fine by me!
Reply:Depends on the look you are trying to go for. The appeal is in your body language. Do YOU feel sexier in high heels? If you feel sexier, you will look sexier thus your man will think you look hotter. If you dont feel comfortable in heels, then your body language will convey that too. It comes down to how you feel about yourself...

For me, I think heels look hot on a woman who know how to strut in them. (If it aint you, dont try it, you will just look silly.)
Reply:flats stink. you should always wear at least 4 inch platform high heels~!!!
Reply:If I'm perfectly honest, I'd have to say I couldn't care less.

If the lady engages me, my eyeline wil never go that low anyway.
Reply:no! high heels all the way. they define beautiful legs!
Reply:depends on what else is being worn....i like heels but its odd to see my gf taller than me lol
Reply:tbh I'm not a guy,but i think a guy should find you sexy whatever you wear as long as you look good and have a great personality.

=]
Reply:No No No No - i HATE flat shoes on woman!! Especially those tiny little pump type things! I am not saying that woman should wear nothing but spike heeled stilletos all the time but those flat shoes make your feet look HUGE and ugly.
Reply:It depends on the girl and her style and personality...

Some girls look good in flats.. others look better in heels.
Reply:one of my bestfriends is a guy and every time i wear flats he goes "ahhh, your wearing those again!"

he cant stand the damn shoes
Reply:Depends really on who the feet belong to. But to answer your question, heels are sexier.
Reply:I may not be a man, but I have to say I prefer flats, I love to wear heels, but has to be flats purely as I am tall and wearing heels makes me taller than the men.
Reply:Umm, no ... sorry. Flat shoes can look great but high heels will always look even better. Doesn't mean you don't look great in flats too, there are some very sexy ones out there but a high heel will always look even better. High heels are just really sexy! A great pair of high heels really draws my eye.

btw - yes, I always check out your shoes, and the rest of your outfit. I love what you girls wear, looks so great. And if some guys didn't notice the clothes, what's the point of wearing such nice ones right? I notice :-)
Reply:Ladies in heels.
Reply:heels make me too tall and i look like walking tree, like the ones out of LOTRs: two towers, so hopefully blokes will say flats.

heels work better on short ppl
Reply:i use both but i bleave that every thing a man use according

to his personality maks him sexy.
Reply:I am a MAN and I definitely prefer flat shoes.
Reply:I'm not a guy, but I can tell you that my boyfriend does not like flats %26amp; to tell you the truth...I don't either! Heels are so fun to dress up in, why not wear them all the time? My man even wants me to wear heels in bed ; )

Is there anything I can put inside a shoe to prevent the heel from slipping?

I love these shoes but my heel is narrow and it keeps slipping out of the shoe. Is there anything I can put inside the shoe to prevent slipping?

Is there anything I can put inside a shoe to prevent the heel from slipping?
Yes. There are insoles which you can put in your shoe to prevent slipping and reduce stress on your feet. Dr Scholl's make great ones. They have the regular ones and a range for high heels which are more discreet and transparent. They are great. You should try them. Get more info here:

Option 2:

Option 3:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Simple-BLACK-4-High-...

I will use a black skirt

What's the best choice here?

Which of these 3 pairs of heels are better suited for a bachelorette party?
Wow, all three are great, but I'd go for the 2 one - it's sexy, it's wild, and yet it's elegant and shows a good taste.

And a final advice - don't wear an all-black outfit - try at least one colour accent, otherwise you'll look like you're going to a funneral :)
Reply:number 3 definatley
Reply:I like the second ones they're really cute.......I'd wear them.
Reply:Definitly option number 2, very sexy indeed
Reply:the third one is the best
Reply:i like the second pair, i will bought and used
Reply:Number two is the best.
Reply:Definitely option 2. Super sexy with what looks like buckles by the toe area for the S%26amp;M look!
Reply:i think the third one is the best. sexy and wild. hope you have fun.
Reply:The Second one definately!! Those are sexy, wild, and FUN! For a shirt I would recommend something sort of see through, not too transparent, though- with a black bra. Color wise you can do about anything you want since about everything matches with black.
Reply:#3
Reply:#3 in black is super sexy with the ankle cuff.
Reply:number 2
Reply:option #3
Reply:Number 2 hands down. Sexy and classy.

And don't pay attention to the person that suggested wearing a slightly see-thru shirt with a black bra... bra showing is very trailer park.
Reply:the 2nd pair
Reply:i think the first one.....if i am at a party and a girl with shoes 1 apperars.....i am around her all time.....promise
Reply:second one
Reply:Personally, I don't wear black shoes with a black skirt or pant. How about bronze, or a muted metallic. Live on the edge, they are only shoes!!!! But, number 2 are cute. I guess I would prefer something that makes more of a statement!
Reply:I would say number 2 or 3... however I think the sexiest types of shoes are those that have really tall heels and/or are very strappy... especially for a bachelorette party if you are going for a more sexy look that wouldn't be worn for everyday... Just my opinion though...

I've bought a new pair of shoes and the heels have no grip....?

They're peep toe with a stiletto heel but the sole of the heel is hard plastic and on most floors it's really slippery, is there any cure for this other than bringing them to the shoe menders to replace the grip part, as I don't live near any.

Please advise, thank you x

I've bought a new pair of shoes and the heels have no grip....?
try using a cheese grater! sounds a bit weird but thats wat they use on models shoes before they go down the catwalk. be gentle though!
Reply:my dad normally scores into the sole with a sharp knife to make grip grooves or uses sand paper to roughen up the sole.
Reply:put them on

go outside

scuff your feet agianst the curb or the cement///
Reply:At most shoe stores you can buy little grippers to stick on the bottoms. Work great on all shoes.
Reply:You can try some home grown recipes like scuffing the heel on a sidewalk, rubbing sandpaper on it etc. All those remedies will add more grip to the heel. However, you can also buy stick on gips at the store (like Target etc.) that will stick right to your heel and you can trim off the excess parts. These have worked great for me and they are relatively inexpensive :)

Reply:yeah its annoying isnt it, you should rally buy boots or uggs, theyre way more compfortable.

try washing your shoes, it normally works for me.
Reply:erm scuff them alot i guess on the curb or use sandpaper

High heels?

I'm a woman who adores her high heels, and still have pretty feet thank God, i've been wearing heels forever, and have really toned legs.

But the real question here is... do you think high heeled shoes tones a womans leg is there any evidence that they do?

High heels?
Yes they do tone a women's legs and as much as I dont want to be ol Frank, Hiking with me would work the opposite muscles and you may get a charley horse or two, so flats would work better goofin off here. Imagine putin a hand on my mountain walkers, pure hard steel. You and I are complete opposites, Me the ruff tuff of the land, your the lil pretty queen. Thanks girly friend, M
Reply:I imagine they would tone your legs

I envy you I would love to wear high heels, but i just cant walk in them

My heels are about 2 inches the most
Reply:they hurt your feet, back and legs ... they look good but are hell on the body.
Reply:You adore heels ? .. really? didn't notice ;-) lol...acyually, I wish all women were like you ...

I don't care whether they tone a womens leg or not .... but they certainly make them look better ...

..and as for boots ...

dR bad

...don't get me started
Reply:I adore ladies in high heels and they do enhance their legs
Reply:If your feet are as good and healthy-looking as you say, carry on witht the high heels.

I love to see women in high heels, they do something ever to the less shapely legs.

Carry on.
Reply:Who cares .I love em!
Reply:I think that they do over time....
Reply:I have no idea if they do..but i'll wear them anyway..I LOVE SHOES
Reply:I think it depends of the type of shoe. I wear them all the time - but I don't wear anything too tall or outrageous. I think the tallest ones I have are like 3 inches. Also, I think you have to have the right type of feet for them too - as in your arch. I have a friend who has very high arches and she has a very hard time finding the shoes that she can wear for longer than an hour or so.
Reply:Hi Preeya take no notice of the player haters on here, your beautiful.

I like wearing heels too, but have to kick them off as soon as i get home from work, did you know that they also lift a woman's bottom too haha.
Reply:No I think exercise and walking tones legs.
Reply:Well, they definitely ruin women's feet, that's for sure!!
Reply:must do cause they force ur leg muscles to contract and so build strength in them, that's why when women wear them their legs always hurt more than when they wear flat shoes.
Reply:I think that high heels do tone your legs, I wear heels everyday and my legs are very toned........more than they were before I started working in a professional career.
Reply:I wear heels a lot and I definitely think they help tone and define the calves when you walk in them. No movement, no toning
Reply:high heels make a woman look smart especially when wearing skirt. And we can walk sexier in high heels.
Reply:I read up on a couple of articles and they did say that because the heels make u walk differently it actually works your legs muscles, especially ur calves
Reply:I don't care. They look soooooo good on a woman. I could eat them. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Reply:What a shallow creature you are.
