Why are clear heels considered as tacky?

I think about 50% of people (girls) think clear heeled shoes are kind of tacky, but some think them as trashy... why is that?


If nobody likes them...then why they have been selling clear heels in every store? they won't drop the style.. so what is going on?

Stripper shoes. Look at the models in the photos - strippers! Men think they are trashy because strippers are trashy, so they think girls who wear these shoes are advertising for sex. Thousands of strippers have to buy their clothes and shoes somewhere and this store is it, apparently.
