Why are clear heels considered as tacky?

I think about 50% of people (girls) think clear heeled shoes are kind of tacky, but some think them as trashy... why is that?


If nobody likes them...then why they have been selling clear heels in every store? they won't drop the style.. so what is going on?

cuz they are known as stripper shoes or hooker shoes, thats why :P
Reply:I think they look kinda cheap and stripper-ish. They're a little on the trashy side. The last ones you provided a link to aren't so bad, but only to go out to a club or something and only if the outfit isn't too revealing.
