Are a womens accessories suppost to match her shoes(heels) when wearing a dress?

ok so i have a silver strapless dress but the lining on the breast area is gold.. should i get gold shoes and chain and earings or everything silver .. OR gold earings, chain and silver shoes

You don't want to be too matchy. Go with black strappy shoes, and gold jewelry.
