Heeled Shoe Traction?

I bought a pair of really nice heeled boots around this time last year and they quickly became my favorite footwear. The winters here in Alaska are hard on shoes and I wore them so much that the little traction piece on the heel has worn completely off. This has never happened to me before...however, as they were rather expensive and still remain my favorite I'm wondering if there's a place that fixes this or should I cut my losses, toss 'em, and buy a new pair?

Heeled Shoe Traction?
Girl go get your shoes fixed!!!! It's really inexpensive and if these are your favourites don't get rid of them that easily. I change shoes every year, and I had one pair I loved so much I had them fixed and refixed because I couldn't bear to part with them.
Reply:Take them to a cobbler/shoe repair place. They can re-heel you shoes for you. It's not too expensive and will save your favourite boots.

I have a couple of pairs of favourite heels and I've had them re-heeled a couple of times so I can keep wearing them. Cost under $10 to fix. Well worth the effort.
Reply:You need to take them to a cobbler. Living in AK you may need to send them out to somewhere. Check the web for cobblers or shoe repair.

You might get lucky and find replacement heel pads at the drug store with the dr. schools stuff... but don't bet too much on that.
