Does anyone work at a shoe store? Can men try on women's high heels etc?

I%26#039;m a sissy transvestite, unfortunately, and I really want to go to Bakers or Aldo or that type of store and try on boots and pumps but I don%26#039;t know if they let men do that. Thanks.

I personally helped a man who was in the process of becoming a woman pick out clothing and yes, try on shoes in the store I used to work at. If someone is rude to you, tell their manager. Everyone should be kind and helpful. I was as helpful as I could be, but then, I%26#039;m very accepting and I have friends just like you. Do it. Don%26#039;t let anyone hold you back.
Reply:Mu brother faced the same problem, I went to make him more at ease, they acted like fine. Be yourself, who cares what anyone else thinks....and by the way they let him try on shoes without a second thought.
Reply:Go for it I get some great deals at Ross and Payless is very understanding. Might want to go on like a tuesday when the salesgirl is bored. It is fun.
Reply:sure they will ! a sale is a sale !
Reply:sure they can try it
Reply:Your money%26#039;s just as green as anyone else%26#039;s. If you are treated badly by a dumb clerk or anyone else at a store, you have every right to complain.

If *you* are uncomfortable, though, you might feel more at ease at a more TV-friendly shoe store, like Frederick%26#039;s, or a ladies big shoes store. I%26#039;m a gal with big feet, who%26#039;s seen some TV%26#039;s treated with courtesy and respect at the shoe stores I go to.
Reply:Of course they would- you are a regular paying customer. Don%26#039;t be ashamed of yourself! Go in there and if they say anything to you just say you have as much right to be there as anyone else! good luck and happy holidays! =)
