PLEASE HELP!!! Can high heel shoes be modified to shorten the heels?
yes they can...my mom use to go to a place that could fix the heels or make then shorter...i don%26#039;t remember what the place was called(sorry:( ) but i know that there are places that do that!
Reply:No, you can not cut down the heel. High heels have a slant from the heel to the toe, so if you cut down the heel, the shoe would not stand right. And, your foot would have to bend backward in order to fit the shoe right.

The chances of actually cutting the heel down (if you did) straightly, so the shoe would not rock, are very slim. The protection rubber at the bottom of the heel (if any) would also be gone, letting your heel wear down over time.
Reply:Yes you can get them shortened. Take them to a shoe repair and they should be able to do it, and you will NOT be standing at a slant!
Reply:Yes, you can take them to a cobbler.
Reply:No you would be standing at a slant.
