I have a daughter of 11yrs old, 5'3" and 9 1/2 shoe size, skinny. The only shoes for her have high heels.

I feel bad because she look older for her age. What should I do?

Check Payless and Walmart. Payless has a lot of cute flats in larger sizes even in leather. Walmart too, but most are man-made materials and are not as comfortable.
Reply:just go up to adult sizes... im sure there arnt all high heels. go to www.journeys.com.
Reply:Get her converse snickers, they are cute, come in a variety of colours and are suitable for her age.

OR adult size ballet flats, sandals...

11 year olds shouldn%26#039;t wear high heels, because if they don%26#039;t have the right posture, it will effect the growth of her form, she may develope a hunched shoulder.

Don%26#039;t feel bad, I looked 18 when I was 13 or something, but I still look 18 now (according to people), and I am 24.
Reply:Keep looking, payless and wal-mart have some decent looking shoes and not all have high heels. It might take you some time but I am sure you can find some nice plats for her. I think with her being so young and if you try to put her in heels now you will do damage to her feet in the long run. She will be wearing them soon enough and there%26#039;s no sense in rushing it. Good luck.
Reply:I was taller than her at 11, but I wore a size 8, then a size 9 by the time I was 13. My mom found shoes for me at Payless, Walmart, Kmart. You can also try Target. II find plenty of flats at these places.
Reply:i know how you feel , i was in 3rd grade wearing a 9 .Its gonna be hard but you can find her some cute shoes that arent super high and still appropriate for a little girl

actually flats are still in so you can get her some ballet flats from target , payless

then you can get her some cute gym shoes from http://www.famousfootwear.com

here are some other places that you can go : shoecarnival , idk if you have a barefeet near you , carsons , jcpenney

good luck !
Reply:try long and tall sally. they%26#039;re really good, or clarks
Reply:There are always high class shoe stores that can order shoes even if they don%26#039;t have them in stock. My family went to one in our home town and got properly sized and ordered when they weren%26#039;t in stock. Birkenstock has different sizing and would have lots of cute sandal options that are not high heels. I gave up high heels when I was 18 because of what they do to your feet. My mom wore them most of her life and now has collapsed arches and all kinds of problems with her feet.
Reply:I had the same problem at her age, so I feel your pain. Payless, Target, Kohl%26#039;s, Ross, TJ Maxx, KMart, Shoe Show, and Wal-Mart are all good options.
Reply:Ebay have heaps %26amp; heaps of shoes!

Take a look!
