Why do shoe heels wear on one side so quickly?
It%26#039;s the way you walk some people walk on the outside of the foot and some on the inside of the foot depends on the person
Reply:only fatties do that to shoes.
Reply:Mine don%26#039;t. But on all my shoes the tip is off the ground to the point i can slide my hand under where my toes are but whilst i got my shoes on. The chiropodist accused me of having shoes that were too small but she changed her mind after a few visits when she realised it is caused by the way i walk.
Reply:Very few people have completely straight legs, so the majority will wear either the inside or the outside of the heel.
Reply:Because that%26#039;s where the heel strikes the ground first and with the greatest force. Now let me tell you what peeves me about this. Back in the good old days, when your heels were worn, you took the shoes to a repairman, and he would replace the heels for five bucks. A pair of shoes could go through several sets of heels and last many years. Nowadays, a pair of shoes cost a hundred dollars, and when the heels are worn, the shoes are discarded. That is how the shoe industry wants it; that is what the consumer accepts; and it really ticks me off.
Reply:Usually because the natural angle formed by the feet (with respect to each other) is not 0 degrees. That small angle means that as you begin to walk, the portion of your heel that hits the ground first is not the very back, but an area just left of center for the left foot and right of center for the right foot.
Reply:that all depends on the way you walk...it might indicate a problem in posture for some people...i have scoliosis and my heel wears off on one side.
Reply:The body is a dynamic system. Imagine a sculpture of our size standing on this 2 small things = feed. It wouldn%26#039;t stand up for long. What our body does is compensate, it is flexible. It is about the balance between 2 forces : one muscle pulls from the back and one from the front. If you have any dis-balance it can be small, it can be big your body and brain has to compensate this. That is what is happening in your body and that is why your shoes are more used on one side than the other. Sometimes you can read from the sole of the shoe ones back problems.

A friend tried this kind of shoes and has back and knee problems were solved after 3 months.

I use a ball to sit on instead of a chair and my food print has changed dramatically.
Reply:They wear out on whatever side you lean on the most.
Reply:Doesn%26#039;t happen to me, so it all depends on how you walk and the angle of how your feet touch the ground
Reply:because of the way ou walk
Reply:true ! i%26#039;ve noticed that ! good question
Reply:It is our walking style, body composition - we give more

weight on the feet
Reply:It%26#039;s the side you put the most pressure on when you walk. It%26#039;s caused by friction from the ground usually.
Reply:That%26#039;s because of the pressure applied by the heel. Which side wears quickest depends on the way you walk and which part of your heel you apply more pressure on. The wearing itself is due to friction. It really can%26#039;t be helped...
Reply:Because I walk funny
Reply:it only wears out like that on fat people
Reply:Bad posture...... your feet are rolling, in or out depending on how the heel wears......
Reply:It depends on you%26#039;re stride.
